Front Projector : Sony VPL-HW15 Projector Three SXRD™ 1920 x 1080p micro-display panels provide optimum resolution from any source that delivers 1080p content. A 200W Ultra-High-Pressure Lamp delivers natural color with a brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens2. BRAVIA Engine™ 2 fully digital video processor significantly reduces noise, enhances overall image detail, and optimizes contrast so every scene produces sharp, vibrant, life-like images. Advanced Iris 3 Function provides up to 60,000:1 contrast ratio1 by optimizing both dark and bright scenes to produce deep black levels with stunning details. 24p True Cinema™ lets you enjoy films at their intended 24 fps (frames per second) when using a Blu-ray Disc™ player or other 24p-capable device. The VPL-HW15 displays nearly twice as many viewable colors as the existing RGB color standard when the projector is connected to x.v.Color™ capable video sources, such as select Sony® camcorders. With a 10-bit processor with 10-bit SXRD™ panels, the VPL-HW15 can create and display 64 times the level of color expression of 8-bit projectors for smoother color gradations. The ARC-F (All Range Crisp Focus) lens takes advantage of the SXRD™ panels' Full HD 1080p resolution. Noise reduction functions identify various types of visual noise and reduce artifacts. The Panel Alignment function lets you adjust gaps in the color of characters or the picture itself. A 1.6x zoom lens provides a short focus distance and takes full advantage of Sony® SXRDTM technology to provide superior resolution and focus. Adjustable Lens Shift lets you adjust the projector horizontally and vertically, so that it can be placed in different locations without distorting image quality. Exclusive Sony-designed fan delivers efficient cooling and whisper-quiet operation (22dB). Two HDMI™ inputs each deliver uncompressed digital video and audio over one cable (cable sold separately). The VPL-HW15 features various analog inputs for connecting a wide variety of A/V components. RS-232C connectivity lets you operate the projector using a home theater automation controller. BRAVIA Sync™ technology provides one-touch control of compatible devices from the VPL-HW15 remote. RCP (Real Color Processing) function allows you to adjust specific colors on the picture without changing overall color and hue.
